Patent number: 12012481Abstract: The invention discloses a block copolymer intrinsic stretchable electroluminescent elastomer and its preparation method and application. This type of elastomer is made from organic electroluminescent monomers, styrene and 1,3-butadiene through anionic polymerization. The innovation of the present invention is: for the first time, the organic electroluminescence unit is introduced into the elastomer by chemical crosslinking. On the basis of improving the intrinsic stretchability of the elastomer, at the same time, it has characteristics of excellent luminescence and high carrier mobility, novel structure and unique design strategy; meanwhile, it also solves the inherent non-stretchability problem of traditional organic optoelectronic materials and the problem that traditional elastomers do not have electroluminescent properties. This type of elastomer is used as a light-emitting layer material to prepare organic electroluminescent devices with high stability, high stretchability and high efficiency.Type: GrantFiled: December 24, 2020Date of Patent: June 18, 2024Assignee: Nanjing University of Posts and TelecommunicationsInventors: Wen-Yong Lai, Wan Song, Xiangchun Li, Yu Yan, Wei Huang

Publication number: 20070172712Abstract: A pressure-adjustable fixture for fuel cell unit includes a controllable pressure source, a pressure guiding mechanism, a press plate, and a pressure-applying carrier mechanism. The controllable pressure source supplies an amount of pressure, which is transmitted via the pressure guiding mechanism to the press plate, and the pressure is further uniformly distributed via the press plate over the fuel cell units loaded on the pressure-applying carrier mechanism for testing. In this manner, the fuel cell units have optimal contact pressure to achieve the best electrical properties.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 11, 2007Publication date: July 26, 2007Inventors: Feng-Hsiang Hsiao, Ting-Yong Lai

Patent number: 6192150Abstract: A method and apparatus matches texture patterns in a way that is invariant to the intensities, scales, and orientations of the texture patterns. The texture matching apparatus includes a texture feature extractor, a feature transformer, and an image ranker. The texture feature extractor identifies regions in a plurality of stored images that contain homogeneous texture patterns that may vary in intensities, scales, and orientations, and extracts N-component texture feature vectors in these regions. The feature transformer maps the N-component feature vectors into a D-dimensional texture space that is invariant to texture intensity, scale, and orientation. The image ranker ranks the images according to the similarity between the texture patterns that they contain and the query texture measured in the D-dimensional invariant texture space, and the similarity between the N-component feature vectors of the texture patterns.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 1998Date of Patent: February 20, 2001Assignee: National University of SingaporeInventors: Wee Kheng Leow, Seow Yong Lai
