    Abstract: A permanent magnet electric motor includes a rotor and a stator magnetically coupled to the rotor. Rotor windings are wound about the teeth and connected to the segments. The stator includes a plurality of permanent magnets surrounding the rotor core and brushes in sliding electrical contact with the commutator.

The rotor core has 5n teeth, n being a positive integer. Two coils are wound on each tooth with each coil being wound about a single tooth and having two ends. The commutator has 10n bars forming a brush contact surface. The stator includes a yoke and a plurality of permanent magnets installed at an inner surface of the yoke and facing the rotor core. The ends of the two coils wound on each tooth are respectively connected to two pairs of adjacent bars and the center line between one pair of the two pairs of adjacent bars and the center line between the other pair of the two pairs of adjacent bars are diametrically opposed.

An exemplary system includes a rule definition interface module configured to receive a plurality of rule definitions and a separate policy management interface module configured to allow a user to define a rule instance from an existing rule definition instance and to define a policy instance based on the defined rule instance. A policy may be simply expressed via the policy management interface as “perform the following set of action if all of the following rule instances are true unless any of the following rule instances are true.” Additionally, policies may be associated with a context at a specific a level in a context hierarchy having multiple levels. The policy may therefore inherit rules from contexts at a higher level in the hierarchy.

Individual network round-trip delays (RTDs) associated with the attached networks may be calculated or determined utilizing the resulting time stamps. The IP gateway may time stamp one or more of the application-level control messages in the existing application session whenever transmission and/or reception of the application-level control messages occurs at the IP gateway. The resulting gateway related time stamps such as the gateway-to-source receive time stamp and the gateway-to-destination transmit time stamp may be stored.

Content streams communicated to the first device may be shared with a second device based on the profiles. The second device may share additional streams with the first device. The first device or other devices may communicate the request. The content may be received from a service manager network device. The IMG and a communication device that may display the content may be integrated in a set-top-box or digital TV. Login access is enabled to devices for requesting content. Cooperation with other IMGs may enable discovery and/or content communication.

    Abstract: A scanning circuit includes n column wires, a ground column wire, n row wires, n*n keys, and n diodes. The column wires and the ground column wire cross the n row wires to form n*(n+1) intersections. The ground column wire having a terminal is for being connected to the high voltage source and the other terminal is grounded. A control unit includes n ports electrically connected to the row wires correspondingly. The diodes are set on n intersections of the matrix, and each diode has a positive terminal electrically connected to the corresponding row wire, and a negative terminal electrically connected to the corresponding numbered column wire. The n*n keys are set on the intersections except where the diodes are located, the n*n keys are connected across column wires, the ground column wire, and the n row wires correspondingly. A related method is also provided.

When interpolation is conducted along Axis ? of the polar coordinates, 4-point interpolation may be used. The interpolation coefficient may be based on cubic B-spline function, which has relatively uniform low-pass filter effects, thereby reducing noise result from interpolation in ultrasonic image.
