  • Patent number: 8905737
Abstract: A revolving vane compressor comprising: a cylinder having a cylinder longitudinal axis of rotation, a rotor mounted within the cylinder and having a rotor longitudinal axis of rotation, the rotor longitudinal axis and the cylinder longitudinal axis being spaced from each other for relative movement between the rotor and the cylinder; a vane operatively engaged in a slot for causing the cylinder and the rotor to rotate together, the vane being mounted in the slot with a two degree-of-freedom motion relative to the slot for enabling the rotor and the cylinder to rotate with each other.

  • Patent number: 8206140
Abstract: An exemplary revolving vane compressor includes a cylinder having a discharge port in and through the cylinder. A rotor housed within the cylinder is eccentrically mounted relative to the cylinder. A vane is mounted in a slot in the rotor. The vane is for sliding movement relative to the rotor. The vane is securely connected to the cylinder to force the cylinder to rotate with the rotor. A pressure shell surrounds the cylinder and the rotor. Each discharge port is for discharging fluid into an enclosed volume of the pressure shell. The cylinder is held within the enclosed volume.

  • Publication number: 20110197609
Abstract: A heat transfer system and method for maintaining or controlling a temperature of a device under test (DUT) with heat generating capability. The heat transfer system comprises a temperature control unit (TCU) for thermal coupling to the DUT, the TCU arranged for flow of a heat transfer medium therethrough; an automatic expansion valve disposed upstream of the TCU; a flow-regulating valve disposed downstream of the TCU; and a controller coupled to the TCU for receiving an input signal representative of a temperature of the DUT; wherein the controller is further coupled to the flow-regulating valve to change a flow area of the flow-regulating valve based on the signal representative of the temperature of the DUT.

  • Publication number: 20110011564
Abstract: A heat transfer device for maintaining a temperature of a device under test with heat generating capability at a prescribed temperature, the heat transfer device comprising an inlet flow-duct; an outlet flow-duct; a conductor block comprising a plurality of through-holes, the through-holes receiving a fluid from the inlet flow-duct and delivering the fluid to the outlet flow-duct; and inserts disposed in the respective through-holes for reducing a cross-sectional area of the respective through-holes to improve heat transfer efficiency.
