    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for directly preparing glycol dimethyl ether and co-producing ethylene glycol from ethylene glycol monomethyl ether. More specifically, the method comprises passing a feedstock containing a raw material of ethylene glycol monomethyl ether and a carrier gas through a reactor loaded with a solid acid catalyst to produce glycol dimethyl ether and ethylene glycol, at a reaction temperature range from 40° C. to 150° C. and a reaction pressure range from 0.1 MPa to 15.0 MPa; wherein a carrier gas is an optional inactive gas; and the feedstock contains water whose volume concentration in the feedstock is in a range from 0% to 95%; and the weight hourly space velocity of the raw material of ethylene glycol monomethyl ether is in a range from 0.05 h?1 to 5.

    Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus and method for enabling concurrent peer-to-peer (P2P) communications via a scheduled resource unit (RU) allocated by an access point (AP). For example, the AP may use a trigger frame to schedule uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) access for a first station of a plurality of stations by allocating an RU to the first station. Instead of using the allocated RU for UL infrastructure communications with the AP, the first station may utilize the allocated RU for a P2P communications with a second station. In some embodiments the AP facilitates RU utilization for P2P communications between stations. In some embodiments, the first station uses the allocated RU and the AP may be unaware of the P2P communications.

The frame may include information cancelling a previously specified NAV protected time in a preamble of the frame. For example, the information may include a CF-End indication. Moreover, the information may be included in a MAC header of the frame and, more generally, in a preamble of a high efficiency (HE) physical layer convergence protocol (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU). Furthermore, the electronic device may transmit the frame in response to a block acknowledgment (BA) from the second electronic device.

In the method of the present invention, the conversion rate of the raw material acetal is high, and the selectivity of acetal carbonylation is high, and the catalyst life is long, and no additional solvent is needed in the reaction process, and the reaction condition is relatively mild, and the process is continuous, showing the potential for industrial application. Moreover, the product of acetal carbonyl compound can be used for producing ethylene glycol by hydrogenation followed by hydrolysis.

A non-transgenic TMV resistant tobacco variety can be obtained by transferring an N?au gene which is contained by germplasm resources into a TMV infected popular tobacco variety by conventional breeding means. The N?au gene of the invention has a homologous sequence with high identity rate of nucleotides in the popular tobacco variety, so that it is easy to obtain a shorter introgression segment single plant carrying the N?au gene by conventional breeding, and thereby to obtain a TMV resistant variety with lower linkage drag.
