  • Publication number: 20240117930
Abstract: A hydrogen storage device includes a storage container having an accommodation space in an interior thereof, a first metal hydride material provided in the interior of the storage container and that stores hydrogen, and a second metal hydride material provided in the interior of the storage container and that stores the hydrogen at a pressure that is different from that of the first metal hydride material. An advantageous effect of restraining an excessive rise of a pressure of the storage container and enhancing safety and reliability may be obtained.

  • Publication number: 20090325454
Abstract: Expandable piñata is a decorative container constructed from sheet materials connected at the edges, which can be shipped and stored flat. An internal expandable brace is activated by pulling external cords that draw brace into the expanded position, causing piñata body to flex into a three-dimensional body with fillable chamber. Score lines optionally direct flexing into a faceted shape. Lock mechanism holds brace in the erect configuration, with adjustable degree of expansion. Piñata body is resilient and compresses brace, to engage lock automatically and maintain expanded configuration.

  • Patent number: 6392708
Abstract: A horizontal display size compensation circuit for a monitor prevents a horizontal display size of a monitor screen from being changed when a horizontal frequency varies according to a video mode. A horizontal frequency is generated by a horizontal frequency generation section corresponding to each video mode. A microcomputer generates a predetermined horizontal display size compensation signal according to the horizontal frequency corresponding to each video mode and a horizontal display size adjustment signal corresponding to an input of a key input section, and a horizontal display size control section controls a horizontal display size of the monitor screen by supplying the horizontal display size adjustment signal of the microcomputer and the horizontal display size compensation signal to the horizontal frequency. Therefore, a horizontal display size of a monitor screen is prevented from varying according to a video mode.

  • Patent number: 6384866
Abstract: A horizontal display positioning circuit for a CRT-type display device includes a microcomputer, a horizontal deflection circuit, and a horizontal positioning control circuit configured between the microcomputer and the horizontal deflection circuit, for outputting a horizontal sync signal having a predetermined duty width. The microcomputer, which receives synchronizing signals from a host computer and discriminates a video mode according to the received synchronizing signals, outputs a horizontal sync signal having a given polarity. The horizontal deflection circuit includes a horizontal oscillating circuit which generates a horizontal deflection signal, a horizontal drive circuit which performs waveform correction of the generated horizontal deflection signal and drives an output transistor, and a horizontal output circuit which includes the output transistor and produces a sawtooth current through a deflection coil based on the operation of the output transistor.

  • Patent number: 5917716
Abstract: A switching mode power supply which protects against circuit damage when an abnormal state such as the disconnection or short circuit of a load occurs. The switching mode power supply includes a pulse width modulation controller, a switching transistor, a switching transformer having a primary coil, secondary coils, and a tertiary coil, an error detection and feedback part connected to a secondary coil, and an abnormal voltage detecting part connected to the tertiary coil. The pulse width modulation controller controls the on time and off time of the switching transistor in order to control the switching transformer, and to thereby control the supplied power. The pulse width modulation controller receives error information detected by the abnormal voltage detecting part and also error information detected by the error detection and feedback part.
