    Abstract: In cases where it has been judged that image data for predetermined pages are capable of being stored in a free storage area of a storage section of a printer, the image data for the predetermined pages are stored and held in the storage section. In the printer, an image forming process is iterated the number of times equal to the number of copies. The image forming process comprises reading of the image data for the predetermined pages from the storage section, acceptance of the image data for the remaining pages outputted from a print control apparatus, and formation of an image represented by image information composed of the image data for the predetermined pages having been read from the storage section and the image data for the remaining pages having been accepted from the print control apparatus.
