  • Publication number: 20250033929
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for triggering an acquisition of image data of an empty elevator car. The method comprises obtaining door status data representing a status of the door of the elevator car, obtaining occupancy status data representing an occupancy status of the elevator car, detecting based on the obtained door status data that the door of the elevator car is closed, detecting based on the obtained occupancy status data that the elevator car is empty, and generating a control signal to an imaging device arranged inside the elevator car in response to the detecting that the door of the elevator car is closed and the elevator car is empty. The control signal comprises an instruction to trigger the acquisition of the image data of the empty elevator car. The invention relates also to a triggering system for triggering an acquisition of image data of an empty elevator car and to an elevator system comprising a triggering system.

  • Publication number: 20240221213
Abstract: A sensor for sensing a fill level of a space includes a housing, a circuit board, a camera, a distance measuring sensor and a controller. The controller is in communication connection with the camera and the distance measuring sensor to calculate the fill level of a space according to the input from the camera and the distance measuring sensor. An elevator includes the sensor for sensing the fill level of the elevator car space. A method for sensing and determining a fill level of a space like an elevator car without utilizing the gravity load can better identify the objects in the space and further calculate the fill level of the space according to the identified images, and can be used as a substitute or a beneficial supplement for gravity load determination.

  • Patent number: 11165786
Abstract: A remote assistance controller serves as an intermediary between a user requesting remote assistance and a remote assistor. A remote assistance policy determines what the remote assistor can see or not see on the requestor's computer system, and may additionally determine allowed or disallowed actions by the remote assistor. The remote assistance policy may be defined by the requesting user, or can be a default policy for the remote assistance controller. The remote assistance controller generates views for the requestor and for the remote assistor. When the remote assistor requests an operation on the requestor's computer system, the remote assistance controller checks the remote assistance policy to determine whether the remote assistor is allowed to perform the requested operation. When the requested operation is allowed according to the remote assistance policy, the remote assistance controller allows the requested operation, and refreshes the views for the requestor and the remote assistor.
