Abstract: An electronic device and a method of payment by the electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a local wireless communication circuit, a first biometric sensor and a second biometric sensor, a security module configured to store payment information corresponding to a payment card, a processor electrically connected to the first biometric sensor, the second biometric sensor, the local wireless communication circuit, and the security module, and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory is configured to store instructions that cause the processor to select at least one of the first biometric sensor or the second biometric sensor, based on a security policy of an issuer of the payment card or a security policy of the payment card, authenticate a user by using the selected biometric sensor, and if the authentication is successful, transmit the payment information to an external device through the local wireless communication circuit.

The method includes determining whether to change a size of data to be uploaded based on a policy of an upload target server, upon determining to change the size of the data to be uploaded, determining an initial transfer size of the data, and uploading a part of the data corresponding to the determined initial transfer size, updating an upload result of the partial data in an upload history, and determining a next transfer size for the data depending on a reception result of the part of the data from the upload target server for a period obtained from the policy.

Abstract: A method for calculating a distance to empty (DTE) when setting a path of navigation is provided. The method includes receiving path search cases from a navigation and determining whether the transmitted path search case is a path cancellation, a vehicle arriving at a destination, or the navigation searching for the path. The method determines whether the transmitted path search case is an initially set path or a reset path. When the transmitted path search case is none of the above the method determines whether there is a currently guided. When the path is initially set, the path is reset after, or the path is currently being guided, among the path search cases, a path reflected DTE is displayed through the navigation; and the path reflected DTE is calculated in real time and path reflected prediction fuel efficiency is calculated, after displaying the path reflected DTE.

Abstract: Analog heterogeneous tags and methods and systems to configure the tags are described. The present invention relates to the field of electronic devices and more particularly to electronic tag devices using analog technology. Embodiments herein disclose a tag that can work in at least one of transmit only, receive only or transmit/receive modes and can transmit/receive using a plurality of communication technologies without the complex stack functionality with minimal hardware and memory requirements, wherein the tag uses I/Q samples corresponding to each technology pre-stored on the tag. Embodiments herein also disclose methods and systems for configuring the electronic tags using a configuration device, wherein the configuration device provides the I/Q samples of each technology to the tag.
