  • Patent number: 11257711
Abstract: A fabricating method of transistors includes providing a substrate with numerous transistors thereon. Each of the transistors includes a gate structure. A gap is disposed between gate structures adjacent to each other. Later, a protective layer and a first dielectric layer are formed in sequence to cover the substrate and the transistors and to fill in the gap. Next, numerous buffering particles are formed to contact the first dielectric layer. The buffering particles do not contact each other. Subsequently, a second dielectric layer is formed to cover the buffering particles. After that, a first planarization process is performed to remove part of the first dielectric layer, part of the second dielectric layer and buffering particles by taking the protective layer as a stop layer, wherein a removing rate of the second dielectric layer is greater than a removing rate of the buffering particles during the first planarization process.

  • Publication number: 20210361972
Abstract: Techniques are presented for optimizing a treatment plan for charged particle therapy. The method includes obtaining medical image data voxels inside a subject in a reference frame of a radiation source that emits a beam of charged particles at multiple tracks with a controlled emitted energy at each track. Hydrogen density (HD) is determined based on the medical image data. Stopping power ratio (SPR) along a first beam having a first track and first emitted energy is calculated based on HD. A range to a Bragg peak is calculated along the first beam based on the SPR and the first emitted energy. The first beam track or the first emitted energy, or both, is modified based at least in part on the beam range to determine a second track and second emitted energy. Output data that indicates the second track and second emitted energy are sent.

  • Patent number: 10352215
Abstract: A method and system for modeling growth of reductant deposits for an aftertreatment system on a real time basis using input including exhaust gas temperature, exhaust gas flow rate, and reductant dosing rate. The growth of the reductant deposits are affected by a rate at which reductant accumulates and decomposes from a surface of the aftertreatment system. Thus, the method and system disclosed determines a net reductant deposit growth rate value based on a reductant deposit accumulation rate value and a reductant deposit decomposition rate value. Further, the method and system disclosed determines a reductant mass deposit value based on the net reductant deposit growth rate value. The reductant mass deposit value determined by the method and system may then be used to control a regeneration strategy of the aftertreatment system to eliminate the reductant deposits from the aftertreatment system.
