  • Publication number: 20230283693
Abstract: Disclosed herein a method and system for optimizing content removal from content store in NDN. The method includes: search the content store when receiving a request interest packet from a consumer; generating an optimization table when receiving the request interest packet; receiving first data corresponding to the request interest packet from a producer; storing the first data in the content store; setting an entry hit rate and a threshold; and deleting the stored first data based on the set entry hit rate and the set threshold.

  • Publication number: 20210105281
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and method for validating data integrity and provenance in named data networking (NDN). For more efficient security in NDN, per-segment provenance and data integrity are verified by minimizing the number of signing operations regardless of the size of data using the attributes of a Merkle tree. Generation and validation of a manifest with per-segment provenance and integrity of a file is possible regardless of the size of the file, thereby reducing burden of computing.

  • Patent number: 9948553
Abstract: A system for distributed multi-domain routing control includes two or more software-defined network (SDN) controllers and virtual routers. The two or more SDN controllers create virtual topology information by collecting information about switches under the control thereof, exchange network information about a different virtual network, as well as create a routing path from a source terminal to a destination cross switch or a routing path from the destination cross switch to a destination terminal based on location identification information of the destination terminal and/or the virtual topology information. Then, the virtual routers manage communication between the different virtual tenant networks or communication between each virtual tenant network and an external network.

  • Patent number: 9900238
Abstract: An original packet flow mapping apparatus and method based on an overlay network. The original packet flow mapping apparatus may include a packet-in message receiver, a flow controller, an overlay tunnel controller, and an interface, whereby flows can be identified even in a physical network segment on which an overlay link is implemented and then the flow can be mapped to an original flow.

  • Publication number: 20160261507
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling and managing a flow. The apparatus classifies a flow management space into a plurality of spaces, detects a heavy load-flow in the classified flow management space, and adjusts variably the flow management space due to a control traffic processing overhead, transmits the detected heavy load-flow according to a weight of each forwarding path through multi-path routing, and balances traffic.
