Abstract: A reflective sheet with a dot-cut pattern for preventing both bright line and bright spot, and a method of manufacturing the same, is provided. The reflective sheet and method of manufacturing the same may be capable of reducing a manufacturing cost and also improving a manufacturing efficiency. The reflective sheet may include a bottom part including a hole for exposing a light source, the bottom part provided on a bottom surface of a cover bottom; a lateral part extending from the bottom part, the lateral part provided at a lateral surface of the cover bottom; a half-cut pattern formed in the boundary between the bottom part and the lateral part; and a plurality of dot-cut patterns formed at the lateral part.

Abstract: A backlight unit containing one or more light sources and fabrication method provided. Each light source has a tube with a first bent side connected to a first end and a second bent side connected to a second end. First and second electrodes are disposed on the tube between the bent sides and their corresponding ends. The backlight unit further includes a first plate having oppositely spaced edge regions. Each edge region has holes. A first portion of each light source is disposed above the first plate and a second portion of each light source is disposed below the first plate. The first and second common electrodes are electrically connected to the first and second electrodes disposed on the tube.

Abstract: A VRAM-based parity engine for use in a disk array controller is disclosed, in which the parity arithmetic operation is carried out in a fast and effective manner, thereby improving the performance of the RAID system. Particularly, the parity data arithmetic operation is not resorted to a processor, but to a VRAM, thereby realizing a high speed operation. In the disk array controller, a VRAM (video RAM) is used, in such a manner that the reading, updating and writing are made to be overlapped during the arithmetic operation, thereby promoting the speed of the arithmetic. Therefore, a relatively large capacity memory can be formed compared with the conventional SRAM, and therefore, a temporary buffer memory within the parity engine is used as a parity cache, thereby doubling the performance.
