  • Publication number: 20210376316
Abstract: A porous tin foil anode includes a porous tin foil. A plurality of holes are uniformly formed on the porous tin foil. A triangular area formed by lines connecting centers of three adjacent holes is used as a smallest unit. The proportion of the area of the holes in each smallest unit is 1%-89%. The distance between the edge of the porous tin foil and the hole is 0.1 mm-10 mm. The porous tin foil anode can be applied to a sodium ion battery system that uses tin foil as both a current collector and an anode active material, which effectively solves the problem of battery expansion and alleviates the problem of decomposition of the solid electrolyte membrane during the charge and discharge process of the battery. The short circuiting that occurs because of burrs on the tin foil puncturing the separator is also eliminated.

  • Patent number: 11189835
Abstract: Provided are anode for secondary battery, preparation method thereof and secondary battery. The anode comprises metal foil and a compact film of metal phosphates disposed on a surface of the metal foil, wherein the compact film of metal phosphates comprises one or more of aluminum phosphate, copper phosphate, iron phosphate, tin phosphate, zinc phosphate, nickel phosphate, manganese phosphate, lead phosphate, antimony phosphate, cadmium phosphate and bismuth phosphate. Disposed on the surface of the metal foil is a film of metal phosphates which insulates against electrons and is arranged such that metallic ions such as lithium ions can pass therethrough. The film of metal phosphates functions like a solid electrolyte interphase, improves the compatibility of the anode with the electrolyte solution, reduces the decomposition of the electrolyte solution, and improves charging and discharging efficiency, cyclability, high and low temperatures performance and safety performance of battery.

  • Patent number: 10790537
Abstract: A secondary battery and its preparation method, the secondary battery having a negative electrode containing a negative current collector and no negative active material; an electrolyte having an electrolyte salt and an organic solvent; a separator; a positive electrode having a positive active material layer containing a positive active material, wherein the positive active material comprises a material having a layered crystal structure; and a battery case used for packaging. Main active component of the secondary battery is the positive active material having a layered crystal structure, which is environmentally-friendly and low in cost; meanwhile, negative active material is not needed by the second battery system, thereby remarkably reducing the weight and cost of the battery and improving the battery energy density. The reaction mechanism adopted by the secondary battery significantly increases the working voltage of the battery and further improves the energy density of the battery.

  • Publication number: 20200099059
Abstract: Disclosed are porous aluminum-foil anode, preparation method thereof and lithium secondary battery. The anode comprises a porous aluminum foil having a plurality of holes evenly arranged thereon, wherein a triangular region formed by connecting three centers of three adjacent holes defines a basic unit, in which a percentage of the area of the holes is in a range of 10% to 79%, and wherein a distance between an edge of the porous aluminum foil and an outermost hole is in a range of 0.1 mm to 10 mm. The porous aluminum foil anode can be applied in a lithium ion battery system in which the aluminum foil is used as both a current collector and an anode active material. It effectively solves the problem of battery expansion and decomposition of electrolyte, thereby improving charging and discharging efficiency, cyclability and safety performance of battery.
