  • Publication number: 20260172085
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to perform beamforming in a wireless network. In at least one embodiment, a processor identifies two or more directions to transmit two or more wireless signals based, at least in part, on one or more matrix operands each comprising two or more beamforming matrices and transmit said wireless signals in said identified directions.

    Inventor: Yongce Chen
  • Publication number: 20260156503
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to perform a digital simulation of a wireless network. In at least one embodiment, a processor generates a virtual network simulation and combine user equipment of said virtual network simulation into virtual cells in order to cause at least one of two or more mobile device emulation programs to be selected based, at least in part, on two or more distinct physical resource block parameters corresponding to said two or more mobile devices.

  • Patent number: 10873412
Abstract: System and method for using a network with base stations to optimally or near-optimally schedule radio resources among the users are disclosed. In certain embodiments the system and method are designed to operate in real-time (such as but not limited to 100 ?s) to schedule radio resources in a 5G NR network by solving for an optimal or near-optimal solution to scheduling problem by decomposing it into a number of small and independent sub-problems, selecting a subset of sub-problems and fitting them into a number of parallel processing cores from one or multiple many-core computing devices, and solving for an optimal or near-optimal solution through parallel processing within approximately 100 ?s. In other embodiments, the sub-problems are constructed to have a similar mathematical structure. In yet other embodiments, the sub-problems are constructed to each be solved within approximately 10 s of ?s.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 19, 2018
Date of Patent: December 22, 2020
Assignee: Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
