Abstract: A database transaction processing method, where a server receives a database access request requesting target data from a client, and sends a first version of the target data to the client, where the first version is a version of the target data that is currently stored in the server, and the server stores only a last committed updated version of the target data. The server receives a transaction committing request sent by the client after the client executes a first transaction based on the first version, where the transaction committing request includes a log recording a data operation of the first transaction, and modifies the version of the target data to obtain a committed updated version of the target data when there is no data conflict for the data operation of the first transaction.

Abstract: A data processing method and apparatus is disclosed. The data processing apparatus includes: a first hash module, at least one second hash module, and a block data scanner, where the first hash module includes multiple slots, and each slot is in a one-to-one correspondence with each data partition or is in a one-to-one correspondence with each data set; each of the at least one second hash module is associated with one slot in the first hash module, and the second hash module is configured to store location information of service data in a data partition corresponding to an slot associated with the second hash module, or location information of service data in a data set of a subscription relationship and that is in a storage engine.

Abstract: A data persistence processing method is disclosed, where the method includes: adding the dirty page identifier to a checkpoint queue each time when a dirty page is generated in a database system memory; determining an active group and a current group in the checkpoint queue, and successively dumping, to a disk, the dirty pages corresponding to the active group on a preset checkpoint occurrence occasion, where the dirty pages are currently prepare to be dumped to the disk, and a group inserted with a dirty page that is newly added is the current group; and determining a next active group if last dumping is completed, and successively dumping, to the disk, the dirty pages corresponding to the next active group on the checkpoint occurrence occasion. The method improves the dumping efficiency of the dirty pages.

Abstract: A method for accessing a database is disclosed, which includes: receiving a modification operation request for shared data in the database which is mapped into a process address space; decomposing the modification operation request to a preset number of atomic operation sequences; invoking atomic operation interfaces according to an execution order of the various atomic operation sequences; and accessing the shared data in the database, which is mapped into the process address space, through atomic operations which are provided by the atomic operation interfaces. An apparatus for accessing a database and a database application system are also disclosed.
