The cylindrical main body part comprises a plurality of parts with an arc-shaped cross section, the parts are formed by bending and welding a same panel, and the cross section of the cylindrical main body part of the tank body is generally arranged between the square-shaped cross section of the frame and an inscribed circle of the square-shaped cross section. A tank container comprising the tank body is also disclosed.
