    Abstract: A holding fixture for fastening a mobile terminal to a module having fastening elements for attaching the holding fixture. The mobile terminal includes a charging coil for contactlessly charging an energy store. The holding fixture includes a window region and a support frame for holding the mobile terminal and for attachment to the module. The support frame extends about the window region. The window region is covered by a supported mobile terminal, when the holding fixture is attached to the module. The holding fixture includes a transmitter unit for generating a resonant inductive coupling with the charging coil. With the aid of a transmitting coil, the transmitter unit generates a resonant inductive coupling acting at least partially through the window region. Consequently, a holding fixture is provided, which includes a window region and has an improved efficiency in the charging of the energy store of a supported mobile terminal.

    Abstract: The present invention takes the advantage of the WLAN resources in hotspots for voice and data connections and enables seamless handover between WWAN and WLAN and vice versa. According to one embodiment of the invention, a mobile terminal has wireless wide area network (WWAN) and wireless local area network (WLAN) interfaces. The mobile terminal via a WWAN. If a WLAN is present, the mobile terminal sends a handover request together with its network address to the called mobile terminal, using a short message service (SMS) technique or a watermarking technique, for initiating a WLAN call with the called mobile terminal via a WLAN. After the WLAN call is established with the called mobile terminal, the mobile terminal releases the WWAN call.

The 3D motion data will be converted and then mapped onto a 2D plane to generate corresponding 2D images for handwriting recognition.
