Abstract: A computer-implemented method of playing a game includes displaying a first plurality of game elements on the display device, receiving a selection from the user, wherein the selection comprises a first game element of the plurality of game elements and at least one second game element of the plurality of game elements, and wherein an appearance of the first game element matches an appearance of the at least one second game element, displaying the selection as an enclosed area that encompasses the first game element and the at least one second game element, determining a second plurality of game elements, wherein each of the second plurality of game elements have an appearance that matches the appearance of the first game element and are located within the selection, and calculating a target score wherein the target score is based on a number of the second plurality of game elements.
