  • Publication number: 20140079007
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of communications technologies, and disclose a data stream transmission method, and a related device and system. The data stream transmission method includes: a user equipment establishes a first network link over a first network and a second network link over a second network with a network side, where the first network is different from the second network; the user equipment associates the first network link with the second network link; and the user equipment distributes, according a scheduling algorithm, a data stream to the first network link and to the second network link for transmission. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, hybrid transmission of a data stream may be implemented in different networks. Compared with an existing solution, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, distribution may be performed more flexibly, and a quality of service assurance may be improved.

  • Publication number: 20080031173
Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting a Traffic Indication message from a BS to a MSS in Sleep Mode is provided in embodiments of the present invention. The method includes: transmitting, by the BS, a Traffic Indication message to the MSS, and setting a flag in the Traffic Indication message for indicating the indication mode of the traffic transmission of a sleep group; receiving, by the Mobile Subscriber Station, the Traffic Indication message, and determining whether each sleep group has a traffic transmission indication according to the flag, if so, the Mobile Subscriber Station changes the corresponding state of the sleep group to non-activated and receives the traffic; otherwise, the Mobile Subscriber Station maintains the sleep group in the activated state.

  • Publication number: 20050226423
Abstract: A method for distributing encryption keys in WLAN that combines a key distribution process with an authentication process of mobile hosts and utilizes an authentication server or a wireless gateway to manage key distribution so that mobile hosts can roam in a scope larger than the coverage area of the key management server. Because the key distribution does not transmit the key, which is not encrypted via the air interface, the method ensures the key is safe. In addition, the method can be used under different WLAN protocols. Because the AP does not need to manage user information, the method simplifies AP structure, and thus lowers the cost.
