Abstract: This disclosure describes particular use of a blockchain based method that allows for sharing of verification information from heterogenous sources, including multiple participants in an electronic transaction. In some instances a method includes generating a sub chain branching from a blockchain main chain in response to comparing the details of a transaction against a set of criteria, including generating a first block identifying the transaction and a sender or receiver for the transaction; notifying one or more parties to the transaction that the sub chain is created; determining that a threshold number of the one or more parties have verified a characteristic of the transaction; and merging the sub chain into the main chain based on the party verifying the characteristic.
