    Abstract: This application discloses a method and an apparatus for activating an ESC of an intelligent driving vehicle. In this method, an ESC activation probability is obtained after an intelligent driving function of the intelligent driving vehicle is enabled. A pre-exit signal of an ADS and a warning signal are outputted when the ESC activation probability is greater than a preset latch interval. The pre-exit signal indicates the ADS to maintain stability of a traveling status of the intelligent driving vehicle. The warning signal prompts a driver to take over the intelligent driving vehicle. A stability parameter of the intelligent driving vehicle is obtained, where the stability parameter represents a stability characteristic of the traveling status of the intelligent driving vehicle. When the stability parameter meets an ESC activation condition, the ESC of the intelligent driving vehicle is activated.

    Abstract: A vehicle control method includes responding to a case in which a vehicle in an automatic driving mode enters an unstable state by determining a second torque change rate based on a first torque change rate obtained when the vehicle enters the unstable state, where the second torque change rate is less than the first torque change rate, and periodically calculating torque of the vehicle based on the second torque change rate using torque obtained when the vehicle enters the unstable state as an initial value, controlling the vehicle by using the calculated torque of the vehicle until the vehicle exits the automatic driving mode, and controlling the vehicle based on torque obtained when the vehicle exits the automatic driving mode.

    Abstract: This application discloses a brake assembly, a brake system, a vehicle, and a brake system control method. The brake assembly includes a cylinder body, a piston, an elastic piece, and a driving piece. The piston is mounted in an inner cavity of the cylinder body, so that the piston and the inner cavity of the cylinder body form an accommodating cavity. The driving piece and the elastic piece are disposed in the accommodating cavity, and the driving piece is connected to the piston through the elastic piece. The driving piece drives, through the elastic piece, the piston to move, so as to drive a brake to brake. When braking is canceled, the elastic piece can provide a pulling force for the piston, so that the piston is reset quickly. Therefore, the solutions can help reduce a dragging torque, reduce travel resistance of a vehicle.

In the vehicle control method, when a steering mode of braking a rear wheel on an inner steering side is performed, target braking force of the rear wheel on the inner steering side is determined based on hand force applied when a driver performs a steering operation on a steering wheel, and steering control is performed based on the target braking force. In this way, steering control that well reflects an intention of the driver can be implemented, to avoid a case in which the driver frequently performs a driving operation to correct a traveling track of a vehicle, and reduce a driving burden. The method provided in embodiments of this application may be applied to an intelligent vehicle.
