  • Publication number: 20190266703
Abstract: The invention relates to an image preprocessing method and device for a JPEG compressed file. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a JPEG image to be processed; and de-noising the received JPEG image by using a pre-trained full convolutional network model to obtain a de-noised and resolution-improved image. The method and the device in the invention can effectively improve the definition of an image in an electronic file, thus effectively facilitate the subsequent image-based file analysis, e.g., OCR and CHART parsing.

  • Publication number: 20190163970
Abstract: An embodiment of the present application provides a method for extracting chart information in a file performed by an electronic device. The method comprises: inputting a file which includes a to-be-identified page into the electronic device; parsing by the electronic device underlying data stored in the to-be-identified page, combining the underlying data into a data block according to a behavior identifier in the underlying data; extracting by the electronic device a graphic object and a word object from the data block respectively, obtaining location information of the word object and of the graphic object in the to-be-identified page; identifying a chart area in the to-be-identified page according to the graphic object and the word object; and performing on the electronic device data fusion on the word object and the graphic object in the chart area to obtain chart information contained in the chart area.

  • Publication number: 20130219277
Abstract: A computer readable storage medium stores instructions defining a mobile device browser. The mobile device browser supports direct command inputs and executable instructions to correlate a proxy command to a selected direct command input. The proxy command is alternately expressed as a gesture and a voice command. The selected direct command input is automatically executed by the mobile device browser.

  • Patent number: 8165633
Abstract: A universal passive interface for connecting external systems to smart devices such as cell phones and PDAs. The passive system includes a cradle for receiving a compatible smart device that connects the functionality of the smart device to a wide variety of external systems (e.g., printers, large display, input devices, etc.). The passive interface includes a USB hub, network port, and other common connector ports for peripherals and other systems. The smart device can connect to the passive system via the cradle slot, a tether, and/or wirelessly. The external systems to which the passive system serves at the interface to the smart device include, but are not limited to, large displays (e.g., television), external monitors, input devices such as mice and keyboards, external storage devices, and networks (wired and/or wireless). A wizard allows the user to configure the external systems to work with the smart device.

  • Publication number: 20030110371
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for transporting user-specific information from one personal computer to another are described. One version of the system utilizes pocket-sized USB flash memory devices (USB Drives). When the USB Drive is connected to a first computer, typically the user's everyday computer, user-specific information, such as email account settings, address book, sent and received emails, etc. is captured on the USB Drive. When the USB Drive is plugged into a second computer, typically a publicly-accessible or borrowed computer, and an application is launched, such as Outlook, user-specific information is temporarily loaded from the USB Drive into the Outlook application. Consequently, the user is able to work on the borrowed computer as if he is working on his everyday computer at home or in the office. Updated information, such as new emails received, is automatically saved to the USB Drive for subsequent transport to the everyday computer.
