  • Patent number: 11487148
Abstract: The present application relates to a polarizing plate having a polarizing film in which a light absorption axis is formed in one in-plane direction; a protective film formed on one side of the polarizing film; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on the other side of the polarizing film, where the total thickness is 200 ?m or less, and a ratio of (SPro/SPVA) of a shrinkage force (SPVA) of the polarizing film in the in-plane direction parallel to the light absorption axis direction and a shrinkage force (SPro) of the protective film in the in-plane direction perpendicular to the light absorption axis direction is in a range of 0.1 to 5. The present application can provide a polarizing plate which does not cause cracks or the like while having a thin thickness, does not induce warping or twisting in itself and does not induce the above problems even when applied to a display device such as an LCD or OLED.

  • Publication number: 20200142256
Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid crystal panel and a method for manufacturing the same, and according to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a liquid crystal panel comprising a liquid crystal cell having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, a first polarizing plate provided on the first surface and a second polarizing plate provided on the second surface, where each of the first and second polarizing plates includes a polarizer layer and a low moisture permeable base layer bonded to the polarizer layer, and a flexural balance between the first polarizing plate and the second polarizing plate is controlled by adjusting shrinkage force of the first polarizing plate and the second polarizing plate.
