The light resonating layer includes two or more layers and varies in thickness depending on the colors of the light emitted from the subpixels.

Additionally, the photonic crystal layer may be configured to correspond to a wavelength of colored light. An organic EL display device having an improved light extracting efficiency may be manufactured using a thermal transfer donor film to adhere the photonic crystal layer to the stack.

    Abstract: Phosphor mixtures for phosphor layers of plasma display devices are provided. The phosphor mixture includes a first compound selected from compounds represented by Gd1-yTbyAl3(BO3)4 (0.05?Y?0.8) and compounds represented by YBO3:Tb3+, and a second compound represented by Zn(Ga1-XAlx)2O4:Mn2+ (0.2?X?0.8). The first compound and second compound are mixed in a weight ratio ranging from about 3:7 to about 6:4. The inventive phosphor mixtures exhibit reduced decay times, thereby increasing color reproducibility and improving brightness characteristics.

    Abstract: A flat panel display and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the manufacturing method includes: i) preparing a substrate, ii) forming a plurality of subpixels on the substrate and iii) forming a light resonating layer including two or more layers on the subpixels, wherein the light resonating layer varies in thickness depending on the subpixels. According to at least one embodiment, it is possible to improve the brightness and the external light coupling efficiency. Further, it is possible to easily manufacture the light resonating layer with the structure in which the low refractive layers alternate with the high refractive layers.

The OLED can prevent image spreading and deterioration in color purity while having enhanced light coupling efficiency.
