Abstract: A cleaning equipment for a sealing tool, which is configured to remove foreign substances accumulated on first and second sealing blocks of the sealing tool, includes: a plasma generation device configured to generate plasma; and a torch device provided with a torch head configured to eject the plasma generated in the plasma generation device to pressing surfaces of the first and second sealing blocks so as to remove the foreign substances accumulated on the pressing surfaces of the first and second sealing blocks, the torch head including: a first torch member provided with a first plasma outlet configured to eject the plasma generated in the plasma generation device to the pressing surface of the first sealing block; and a second torch member provided with a second plasma outlet configured to eject the plasma generated in the plasma generation device to the pressing surface of the second sealing block.

Abstract: An activation tray congestion monitoring system includes a tray transfer line for transferring a plurality of activation trays to an activation process and a subsequent process. A plurality of battery cells are accommodated in each of the plurality of activation trays, a master tray disposed between the plurality of activation trays and transferred along the tray transfer line, together with the activation trays, a position sensor included in the master tray and configured to detect a position of the master tray and transmit position data of the master tray, and a control unit configured to receive position data from the position sensor and monitor a position of the master tray in real time to identify a congestion section for each of the activation trays.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for manufacturing a secondary battery. The apparatus for manufacturing a secondary battery comprises a fixing part configured to press and fix a cell comprising an electrode assembly, an electrolyte, and a battery case configured to accommodate the electrode assembly and the electrolyte, wherein the cell is fixed so that a gas pocket part is disposed above a main body of the battery case, a piercing part configured to pierce the fixed cell through a knife so as to form a gas discharge hole, a vacuum part through which the cell is maintained in a vacuum state, and an internal gas of the cell is discharged to the outside, a leakage prevention part configured to prevent the electrolyte from leaking by pressing the gas pocket part of the cell, in which the internal gas is discharged through the vacuum part, through a leakage prevention block, and a pre-sealing part configured to seal the gas pocket part.
