Abstract: A display has a display part displaying an image signal, an image signal processor providing the image signal to the display part, a pen sensor sensing at least two locations on a main body of the pen positioned on the display part and generating a first pen sensor signal and a second pen sensor signal, and a controller controlling the image signal processor to display the image as rotated based on the first pen sensor signal and the second pen sensor signal. The display senses an exact display direction which a user wants to use without operating a display direction converting switch and rotates the displayed image according to the sensed display direction.

Abstract: A wireless LAN card to be connected to a portable computer having a main body with a PCMCIA socket, includes a wireless transmission board including a wireless sending/receiving part to modulate and demodulate packet of a specific frequency modulation range and to wirelessly send and receive data; and a wireless LAN board including a controller to sense whether or not the wireless transmission board is connected to the wireless LAN board, to convert the data received through the PCMCIA socket into the packet data, and to transmit the packet data to the wireless transmission board. With this configuration, a wireless LAN card and a operation of controlling the same is provided, in which the wireless LAN card is usable as a memory card and a wireless sending/receiving part thereof is easily replaceable for one of a desired specification.
