The transflective liquid crystal display panel comprises a first substrate (11), a second substrate (21) arranged opposite to the first substrate (11), and a liquid crystal layer (31) disposed between the first substrate (11) and the second substrate (21). The liquid crystal display panel comprises a plurality of pixel units, each pixel unit comprises a transmissive region and a reflective region, and a thickness (d1) of the liquid crystal layer (31) in the transmissive region is equal to a thickness (d2) of the liquid crystal layer (31) in the reflective region. On a side facing the liquid crystal layer (31), the first substrate (11) is provided with a first common electrode (12) corresponding to the reflective region and the transmissive region and a second common electrode (15) corresponding to the transmissive region.

The LCD panel comprises a first substrate (1) and a second substrate (2) arranged opposite to each other; a liquid crystal layer (3) is disposed between the first substrate (1) and the second substrate (2); the first substrate (1) comprises a plurality of pixel regions; each pixel region comprises a transmission section (4) and a reflection section (5); the first substrate is provided with a reflective layer (6) disposed in the reflection section (5); polymers (30) formed by polymerization of ultraviolet curable monomers are uniformly distributed in the liquid crystal layer (3) of the reflection section (5). The LCD panel adopts a single cell gap and controls the phase retardation amount of reflected light emitted out from the reflection section (5) through the polymers (30), so that phase of the reflected light can match with the phase of transmitted light emitted out from the transmission section (6).

The pixel electrode includes a cutout and a liquid crystal direction controller that are alternately disposed. The cutout and the liquid crystal direction controller divide the pixel electrode into a plurality of sub-regions, and inclination directions of the liquid crystal molecules are different according to the plurality of sub-regions when the pixel electrode is supplied with the data voltage. The liquid crystal direction controller is concave downward or convex upward with respect to a surface of the first substrate.

Alternatively, the pixel and direction control TFTs are coupled to the same gate line, and portions of a gate insulating layer are formed with different thicknesses. Resulting differences in the voltages respectively applied to the two TFTs or in the electric fields respectively applied to the two electrodes prevent leakage current of the direction control electrode TFT, thereby enabling stable multi-domains to be implemented in the LCD without applying a high voltage.
