  • Publication number: 20240077975
Abstract: An active pen adapted for use with a touch pad includes: a receiving circuit configured to generate an internal signal in response to modulating a received uplink signal, a first filter configured to generate a first sampling signal by sampling the internal signal at a first frequency, a second filter configured to generate a second sampling signal by sampling the internal signal at a second frequency unequal to the first frequency, and a timing information generating circuit configured to generate timing information associated with the uplink signal from the internal signal. The receiving circuit is also configured to receive the uplink signal at the first frequency in a first frame, and at the second frequency in a second frame. A noise power calculating circuit is also provided to calculate a noise power level of the uplink signal at each of the first and second frequencies, in response to the first and second sampling signals.

  • Patent number: 9946403
Abstract: A touch sensitive display device, a method for driving the same, and a driving circuit of the display device are disclosed. The touch sensitive display device comprises a display panel comprising a plurality of pixels and a plurality of touch sensors. Each touch sensor is connected to at least one respective pixel of the pixels, the display panel driven in a plurality of successive display frame periods and during each display frame period a respective frame of image data is driven to the pixels. A touch driving circuit drives touch driving signals to the touch sensors during a touch frame that begins in a first display frame period of the display frame periods and ends in a second display frame period of the display frame periods that immediately follows the first display frame period.

  • Patent number: 9671899
Abstract: In touch panel display device, a first touch electrode group has a first plurality of touch electrodes and a second touch electrode group has a second plurality of touch electrodes. A first current supplier circuit supplies a first current during a first current supply period to the first touch electrode group, and the second current supplier circuit supplies a second current during a second current supply period to the second touch electrode group. The sensing signal receiver circuit holds a first touch voltage for the first touch electrode group following the first current supply period, and holds the second touch voltage for the second touch electrode group following the second current supply period. The sensing signal receiver determines based on the first held touch voltage and the second held touch voltage, whether a touch occurred in each of the first touch electrode group and the second touch electrode group.
