Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a tablet computing device includes an arm having first and second ends; a support base detachably fastened to the second end of the arm by an attachment member wherein the support base includes a recess formed on the bottom surface of the support base and a through hole formed on the recess; and a receiving plate, mounted on the first end of the arm to receive the tablet computing device. The receiving plate includes a receiving portion having an annular mounting portion with an inner rim and outer rim which are concentric such that the tablet computing device can mount on the annular mounting portion facing downward for allowing the user to see the screen of the tablet computing device from below the receiving portion.
