Abstract: There is proposed a digital processing device including a display incorporating a virtual keyboard locator, having an elongated shape extending along one side of the display. The locator includes—partly invisible keys, and—visible alphabetical characters arranged into three rows (upper, middle, and lower). The middle row's characters indicate locations of corresponding visible alphabetical keys, situated on the visible parts. The upper row's characters indicate locations of the partly invisible keys, located on the display partly outside and above the visible parts. The lower row's characters indicate locations of the partly invisible keys, situated on the display partly outside and below the visible parts. In embodiments, the middle row's characters are increased to be inserted between the upper and lower rows' characters providing compactness of the locator and an intuitive visual separation effect between the three rows. The three rows can be arranged in a conventional three-row Qwerty keyboard order.

Abstract: A processing (e.g. telecommunication) device is herein proposed. The device comprises a display, and a keyboard peripherally extending around at least a portion of display. Preferably, the keyboard is alphanumerical and extends around at least a portion the display's perimeter. The alphanumerical keyboard preferably has a predetermined keyboard set of keys, and the device further comprises a keyboard locator unit having a locator set of keys corresponding to the predetermined keyboard set of keys. The keys of the locator set of keys are disposed in a manner to indicate the locations of the keys of the predetermined keyboard set of keys. The device may comprise a microphone and a speaker located on opposite sides thereof, the display extends therebetween, the keyboard extends around at least a portion of the display's sides. The keyboard and the locator unit can be represented as a mechanical unit, or an image on the display.

Abstract: A cellular telephone device comprising two C-shaped members which are configured to be detachably secured around a wrist of a user. The members have an inside surface, which is in contact with the user's wrist when the device is in the closed position. On the inside surface is disposed either a keypad unit for providing signals to the cellular telephone device or at least one display unit. The device comprises a cellular phone mechanism and a battery, which are housed in the members. In a preferred embodiment, the two members are C-shaped and are pivotably connected at one end by a hinge and are detachably connected at a second end by a releasable clasp mechanism. The second end of each member also comprises a speaker unit and a microphone, respectively, such that, when the device is in an open position, the speaker unit and the microphone are positionable proximate to a user's ear and mouth. An outer surface of the members may comprise a display unit, a keypad, a watch unit, or a speaker unit and microphone.
