  • Publication number: 20220049748
Abstract: Protruding portions protruding in a direction of approaching a disc rotor are integrally formed in a locking plate portion of a pad spring. Moreover, an insulating resin coating is formed on a front surface side (surface in a region opposed to an outer peripheral surface of the disc rotor) of the locking plate portion. The coating film formed on the front surface of the locking plate portion flows downward by its own weight before the coating material is solidified. As a result, the coating film formed on bottom surfaces (front surfaces of protrusions) of the protruding portions is thinner in film thickness than that of the coating film in other region.

  • Patent number: 8733513
Abstract: Provided is a disk brake in which a rotation control part for controlling relative rotation of a cartridge and a cylinder of a parking brake mechanism is formed at the cartridge and includes convex parts having curved surfaces and concave parts formed at the cylinder and having curved surfaces, and a spacer formed of stainless steel, resiliently fitted into an inner circumference of the cylinder and including arc part having the same shape as the concave parts is disposed between the convex parts and the concave parts.

  • Patent number: 8678146
Abstract: Provided is a disk brake having a caliper. The caliper includes a cylinder part disposed at one side in a disk axial direction and having a bore for accommodating a piston, a pair of arm parts extending to both sides of the cylinder part in a disk rotational direction and having ends to which sliding pins are fixed, and a guide attachment part configured to couple the one arm part to the cylinder part and to which a cable guide member is fixed, which are integrally formed with each other. A thickness of the guide attachment part in a disk diameter direction and a thickness of the one arm part in the disk diameter direction at least partially overlap in the disk axial direction.

  • Patent number: 8286758
Abstract: A disk brake capable of improving fabrication efficiency and having a transmission member. The transmission member (101) includes: an anti-rotation locking portion (130) formed on an outer circumferential portion of the transmission member, the anti-rotation locking portion being slidably fitted into a fitting area (72) on a cylinder (35) side so as to restrict rotation relative to the cylinder; and a seal groove (109) formed in an inserted portion (105). The seal groove stores a sealing member (118) for defining an internal space in the cylinder (35) and a cam chamber (62). The anti-rotation locking portion is fitted into the fitting area (72) on the cylinder side before the sealing member is positioned inside a hole (59) when the inserted portion (105) of the transmission member (101) is inserted into the hole.
