    Abstract: A clamp mechanism in a travelling cutting machine for a steel pipe, in which a clamp open-close wedge provided with a biasing spring is mechanically operated using a cam system in association with vertical movement of a lifting base plate, thereby minimizing a time lag between the operation times, and in which a lower front blade, an upper blade passing-gap adjusting member and a lower rear blade are made into an integral component, thereby easing exchange of the blades.
