    Abstract: A substrate storage container is disclosed that includes: a container body that stores semiconductor wafers W being supported by pairs of left and right supporting pieces; a removable door that opens and closes an open front of container body; and interface portions that are provided in the container body and the door and are connected to a load port apparatus of processing equipment. The door is positioned and connected to the load port apparatus when the open front of container body is opened and closed by the door. The container body, its paired supporting pieces, the door and the interface portions are all formed of conductive materials so that their surface resistance values are specified to fall within the range of 103 to 1012?, to thereby inhibit adherence of particles to these due to electrification of static electricity.

    Abstract: A digital watch case which includes a cylindrical watch barrel, glass cover, glass sealing means and parting plate mounted from the upper end of the barrel, and a back cover mounted from the opposite end. The watch case is characterized in that the thickness of the watch shell is reduced by providing a receiving surface on a flange of the barrel which extends inside the outer surface of the glass cover. The parting plate supports the glass cover and covers the watch body except for the display area. The back cover is secured to the watch shell by a radial spring means attached to the watch back. Packing means are supported on the back cover to engage compressively with the under horizontal surface of the flange and the back cover.

The construction is such that a broken crystal can be readily replaced, and the watch case itself can be of any shape, including square, ovoid and hexagonal, as well as circular. The watch crystal is located positively by means of a bezel and a ring which compress a gasket both axially and radially against the watch crystal.

    Abstract: A water-tight watch case construction is provided which includes a case body, a crystal mounted in one end of the case body, and a back cover connected to the other end thereof. The crystal is provided with a beveled top edge and a vertical surface between the top and under surfaces thereof. The portion of the case body adjacent the vertical surface of the crystal is recessed for thereby defining a gasket seat and a peripheral flange overlying the beveled edge of the crystal. A gasket is mounted in the gasket seat and the vertical edge of the crystal is compressively engaged therewith. Underlying the crystal is a supporting flange releasably mounted in the case body for supporting the crystal along a marginal portion of the underside surface thereof. Releasably securing the supporting flange in position is a supporting frame connected to the dial assembly of the watch which is provided with an elbow abutting a relief provided on the back cover of the watch.
