  • Patent number: 4987553
Abstract: A straight line drawing control apparatus includes a first first-in first-out memory for inputting coordinate data indicative of coordinates of a straight line to be drawn in synchronism with a first write clock and inputting write data relating to luminance and/or color of the straight line in synchronism with a second write clock and for outputting the coordinate data in synchronism with a first read clock and outputting the write data in synchronism with a second read clock. The coordinate data, the write data and the first and second write clocks are supplied from an external device. The apparatus further includes a second first-in first-out memory for inputting flag data indicating a change of the write data in synchronism with the first clock and for outputting the flag data in synchronism with the first read clock, and a controller for generating the first read clock and for generating the second read clock only when the flag data is supplied from the second first-in first-out memory.

  • Patent number: 4935821
Abstract: An image processing apparatus applicable to a multi-media copying machine with which multiple different recording media are usable includes a scanner for reading a document image and converting it into an electrical image signal, a floppy disk drive, an MPU and other controllers, and a printer for printing out an image on paper. The apparatus has not only a document-to-paper copying function but also a document-to-disk copying function and a disk-to-paper copying function.

  • Patent number: 4586819
Abstract: A laser Raman microprobe separates a laser beam reflected by a sample and a Raman scattered light generated by the sample by a filter which transmits or reflects a light in a predetermined wavelength region including a wavelength region of the reflected laser beam and applies only the Raman scattered light separated by the filter to a single-monochromator for spectroanalysis. A high sensitivity analysis is attained by the single-monochromator.

  • Patent number: 4505586
Abstract: A laser Raman spectrophotometry system for analyzing a sample material by measuring spectrum of Raman scattering produced by the sample under irradiation of laser light includes a laser light source for excitation of luminescence in addition to a laser light source for the excitation of the Raman scattering, and an optical system for rendering the optical path of the laser beam for luminescence excitation to substantially coincide with the optical path of the laser beam for the Raman scattering immediately before irradiation of the specimen. Luminescence spectrum brought about by the laser beam for luminescence excitation is adjusted by adjusting the laser power to simulate the luminescence spectrum concurrently produced by the laser beam for the excitation of Raman scattering, wherein both spectra of luminescence are subtractively combined together, to thereby cancel the luminescence component and allow only the spectrum of Raman-scattered light to be measured with a correspondingly enhanced accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4394404
Abstract: A magnetic recording medium having a metamorphosed layer on the surface of the magnetic layer of conventional magnetic recording media, said metamorphosed layer being derived from some of a binder component included in the magnetic layer, can prevent the sticking trouble taking place between the magnetic recording medium and the magnetic head. Said metamorphosed layer can be formed by irradiation with ultraviolet rays in the course of the production of magnetic recording media at the step of coating a dispersion of magnetic particles on a flexible support or after the coating step. Said metamorphosed layer can also be formed on the surface of once produced magnetic recording media irrespective of having caused the sticking trouble by irradiation with ultraviolet rays. Suitable apparatuses for producing such improved magnetic recording media are also provided.
