  • Publication number: 20080093012
Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire, in which the uniformity of a tire can be improved. The method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire of the present invention is a method in which a green tire is deformed by a building drum in a tire building process. The building drum used for this process is expandable and contractable in the tire radial directions. In the method, a non-adhesive sheet is disposed on the innermost surface of the green tire. The non-adhesive sheet has a coefficient of friction of 0 to 0.2 on the building drum. Then, the green tire is built in a state where the non-adhesive sheet is attached thereto.

Abstract: To provide a non-pneumatic tire, including a spoke structure, which can be easily mounted on a rim of a wheel. In addition, to provide a non-pneumatic tire whose durability is improved by suppressing the buckling of a spoke structure. [Solving Means] Provided is a non-pneumatic tire including a spoke structure (5) and a tread ring (11). The spoke structure (5) includes a cylindrical outer member (2) and a cylindrical inner member (3) which are concentrically arranged, and which are connected to each other with a plurality of fins (4, 4?) arranged in between at intervals in the circumferential direction. The tread ring (11) is fitted onto the outer periphery of the spoke structure (5). In the pneumatic tire, the spoke structure (5) is divided in the tire circumferential direction into at least two circumferential-direction separate structures (511, 521, 531).

  • Publication number: 20070205879
Abstract: To detect a slip state in a contact region of a rotating tire on a road surface, first, the first radical direction data and the second width direction data of measurement data of acceleration at a tread portion of the rotating tire for a duration corresponding to one round of tire rotation are acquired. Second, time series data of acceleration due to tire deformation is extracted from the first radical direction data and displacement data is obtained by subjecting the time series data of acceleration due to tire deformation to a time integration of second order, thereby a deformation at the tread portion is calculated and a contact region of the rotating tire is determined from the calculated deformation. Next, from the second width direction data, a slip region within the determined contact region is specified based on vibration level of the second data.

  • Publication number: 20070169871
Abstract: A pneumatic tire is provided which enables durability thereof to be improved by preventing oxidation degradation of belt layers. In the pneumatic tire, a carcass layer is laid between a pair of bead portions so that the carcass layer links the bead portions, an air penetration preventing layer is disposed on the inner surface of the tire along the carcass layer, and belt layers are buried in a tread portion at the side of the outer periphery of the carcass layer. In the pneumatic tire, a cord layer, which is formed by repeatedly winding a cord in the tire circumferential direction, is disposed between the carcass layer and the belt layers, and at least one portion of the cord layer is made close to the outer surface of the tire so that a distance between the cord and the outer surface of the tire is not longer than 2 mm.

  • Publication number: 20070144655
Abstract: A pneumatic tire which facilitates separation of a rubber layer and is excellent in recyclability and retreadability and a method of scrapping the same. A pneumatic tire comprises a partition layer buried adjacent to a rubber layer, the partition layer including at least one cord repeatedly bent to turn around at its bent portion and arranged in a plane and rubber portions interposed between adjacent portions of the cord. Herein, the cord is arranged in a direction intersecting with the tire circumferential direction. The cord of the partition layer is pulled in an in-plane direction of the partition layer to sequentially cut the rubber portions interposed between the adjacent portions of the cord. The rubber layer adjacent to the partition layer is thus separated.
