    Abstract: A pull type clutch having a clutch disc (16) and a pressure plate (18) in a clutch cover (20) mounted on a flywheel (10), an approximately annular diaphragm spring (22) so installed as to connect its outer peripheral part to said clutch cover (20) and to connect its inner peripheral part to a release bearing (24) which is slidden in an axial direction by a lever-like release fork (26) supported by a pivot (36) fixed to a transmission housing (34), and a fulcrum hole (42) of said release fork (26) for penetrating said pivot (36), characterized by said fulcrum hole (42) extends toward a center (0) of said release bearing (24) so that said release fork (26) can be moved outwardly in a radial direction of a clutch in order to remove a transmission (12).

    Abstract: A damper disk comprises a hub connected to an output shaft, an input part disposed around the hub, a pair of diaphragm springs disposed at axially opposite sides of the input part, a fulcrum mechanism through which the diaphragm springs are supported by the input part, and a cam mechanism disposed between the radially inner portions of the diaphragm springs. The cam mechanism includes an output cam rigidly connected to the hub, and a pair of input cams axially engaging the diaphragm springs and unrotatably connected to the input cams, respectively. Both of the input cams are adapted to move axially oppositely in accordance with relative rotation between the input and output cams.

A cylindrical wedge collar is disposed around the extension. A lever plate is connected to a diaphragm spring of the clutch and disposed around the wedge collar. The wedge collar and the lever plate are movable through predetermined axial section relatively to each other.

The extension (3a) includes an end remote from the release bearing for contact with a second stationary fulcrum. The end of the extension is spaced from the second fulcrum before the clutch reaches a predetermined released condition in a releasing operation and engages the second fulcrum after the clutch reaches the predetermined condition for increasing the released spacing between the clutch facing and the flywheel and pressure plate.

    Abstract: A friction clutch includes side plates connected to an output hub and being adapted to receive a torque through a friction facing from a flywheel of an engine, and a clutch cover supporting a control mechanism of the clutch. At least one of the clutch cover and the side plates is integrally provided at outer peripheral portions with small portions which are surrounded by a groove and a slot connected to the groove so that one or more of the small portions can be removed for balancing the clutch in an unbalance-correcting process. The side plates are rigidly connected together by stop pins and are connected to the hub through springs disposed in openings formed in the side plates and a radial flange of the hub. One of the side plate is provided at outer peripheral portions circumferentially between the openings and the stop pins with the small portions.

    Abstract: A clutch disc assembly with a balancing device includes a disc adapted to be connected to an output shaft; a supporting plate device provided at the outer peripheral portion of the disc; a pair of friction facings fixed to both surfaces of the plate device; and a rivet for correcting an unbalance of an inertial mass of the disc assembly around the output shaft and fixed to the plate device. The facing may be provided with a port in which the rivet for correcting the unbalance is disposed, and a friction facing piece is disposed in the port to form a part of a friction surface.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a clutch disc comprising a hub means having an inner hub adapted to be connected to a shaft and provided with outer teeth and an outer hub having a flange and inner teeth meshing with the outer teeth of the inner hub with circumferential spaces therebetween; weak elastic means disposed in some of the spaces to circumferentially connect the outer and inner teeth together, other spaces in which the weak elastic means are not disposed having circumferentially shorter length than the spaces for the elastic means so that the elastic means may be prevented from full compression; stopper means for preventing both hubs from relative axial movement and preventing the elastic means from dropping out of the spaces; a pair of side plates disposed at both sides of the flange and connected to a torque input member; and strong elastic means for connecting the side plates to the flange.
