  • Patent number: 8552331
Abstract: A method for producing contact materials being employed in electric/electronic circuits consists of a step 1-1 for supplying a spring base strip 1, a step 2-1 for supplying a noble metal wire 2, a seam welding step 3-1 for welding the metal wire 2 to the spring base strip after the spring base strip 1 and the noble metal wire 2 are held together, and a step 4-1 for winding a welded product. The method further includes a testing step 8-1 for determining a preciseness of a welded position and for determining a welded strength to peel the noble metal wire 2 from the spring base strip 1, which are performed between the seam welding step 3-1 and the winding step 4-1. Specimens for the testing step 8-1 are sampled at the beginning of and at the end of a production lot of the contact material.

  • Patent number: 8226002
Abstract: A conductive fixed static elimination member is provided in a before-magnetic head travel portion which guides a magnetic card to a magnetic card reader unit provided with a magnetic head, such that a protuberance portion thereof protrudes into a card travel groove through an opening formed in one of side walls, and has a conductive cleaning pad affixed to a surface thereof. The magnetic card inserted in the before-magnetic head travel portion is cleaned by the cleaning pad, and if the magnetic card has static electricity, it is possible to eliminate the static electricity by discharging the static electricity to the ground via the cleaning pad having conductivity, the fixed static elimination member, and a magnetic card reader fixing bracket.

  • Patent number: 8162217
Abstract: A magnetic head is held by a side wall through a head fixing fitting so as to freely advance into and retreat from a card sliding groove. First and second head urging levers are swingably supported through a pin. In a standby state, the magnetic head is away from the card travel groove, and card engaging sections of the first and second head urging levers are staying in the card travel groove. When a magnetic card slides in a card sliding direction, the magnetic card makes contact with a card contact section to push the card contact section away from the card travel groove. This causes the first head urging lever to push out the magnetic head into the card travel groove so that the magnetic head makes contact with the magnetic card.

  • Publication number: 20080087649
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing a contact member being employed in electric/electronic circuits. The method comprises a first process and a second process. The first process comprises a step 1-1 for supplying a spring base strip 1, a step 2-1 for supplying a noble metal wire 2, a seam welding step 3-1 for welding and combining the metal wire 2 with the spring base strip after the spring base strip 1 and the noble metal wire 2 held together; and a step 4-1 for winding a welded and combined product. The second process comprises a step 5-1 for punching the welded and combined product. The seam welding step 3-1 comprises a step 6-1 for setting welding conditions and a step 7-1 for circulating chilled water in a closed channel. A testing step 8-1 comprises a sub-step 8-1a for determining a preciseness of a welded portion and a sub-step 81b for determining a welded strength, is performed between the seam welding step 3-1 and the winding step 4-1.

  • Patent number: 4527532
Abstract: A fuel-vapor emission control system has a canister having a vacuum operated purge control valve, communicated with a float chamber of a carburetor and a fuel tank for purging fuel-vapor. A vacuum chamber of the vacuum operated purge control valve is communicated with a port provided in the carburetor so as to apply manifold vacuum to the vacuum chamber at partial-throttle operation. Parallel purge lines are provided for communicating the canister with an intake manifold of the engine. A solenoid operated valve is provided in one of the purge lines for controlling the purging of the fuel-vapor. The solenoid operated valve is opened for the purging by a signal from a vehicle or engine speed sensor under such conditions that the engine does not stall.

  • Patent number: 4447880
Abstract: A system for electronically detecting the transient state of engine operation of an internal combustion engine having a spark ignition system. A measuring circuit counts pulses having the pulse separation of the ignition timing of the spark ignition system and produces data output. A plurality of memorizing circuits are provided for memorizing old data output from the measuring circuit and a subtractor compares the old data output and the memorizing circuit with the new data output from the measuring circuit and produces the difference between the data and the amount of the difference. The output of the subtractor is used for correcting the air-fuel ratio of the air-fuel mixture of an emission control system using a three-way catalytic converter.
