Abstract: A medicine registration apparatus includes a storage unit, a processor and a display unit. The storage unit stores a medicine master database including information regarding a required disposal method of a medicine. The processor reads identification information on a medicine, identifies a medicine based on the identification information, determines whether the identified medicine includes a corresponding required disposal method in the medicine master database, and provide a notification that the identified medicine includes the corresponding requited disposal method when it is determined that the identified medicine includes the corresponding required disposal method. The display unit displays the notification.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, a medicament registration apparatus comprises a registration module configured to register a medicament to be used in a storage section; a display control module configured to display each of the medicaments registered by the registration module in a list on a display section; and a reception module configured to receive a cancellation operation of cancelling the registration of the designated medicament in the medicaments registered by the registration module; wherein the registration module cancels the registration of the medicaments designated through the cancellation operation from the storage section; and the display control module displays the cancelled information indicating that the registration is cancelled corresponding to the medicament designated through the cancellation operation.

The storage section stores a first medicament master in which first medicament information relating to each medicament is held and a second medicament master in which second medicament information including determined output form of each medicament is held. The recognition module recognizes a medicament of a reading target. The output control module outputs the first medicament information corresponding to the medicament recognized by the recognition module according to the determined output form in the second medicament information.
