  • Patent number: 8358132
Abstract: An irradiating coil includes a first ring conductor located on a plane, a second ring conductor having a smaller diameter than a diameter of the first ring conductor and located substantially on the plane of the first ring conductor, a plurality of first line conductors connected the first ring conductor and to the second ring conductor, and an arrangement for making uniform a radio-frequency-pulse that is transmitted by the irradiating coil. The pulse uniforming arrangement includes a diverger which diverges a current flow of the first line conductors.

  • Patent number: 7382130
Abstract: A planar irradiating coil including a first ring conductor, a second ring conductor having a smaller diameter than that of the first ring conductor, and a plurality of first line conductors that connects the first ring conductor and the second ring conductor, is provided with means for causing the irradiation pulse to be more uniform. That is, in order to make the irradiation pulse more uniform, it is necessary to disperse the operating voltage or to diverge the irradiation current. Therefore, the irradiating coil is provided with a plurality of resonant capacitance elements on the first ring conductor between its connections with the first line conductors, or it is provided with second line conductors, that are connected to the first line conductors, and third line conductors, that connect each end of the second line conductors with the second ring conductor.

  • Patent number: 5917278
Abstract: An EL display comprises a transparent substrate and a first electrode layer made of a transparent material disposed on the transparent substrate. A luminescent layer, a first insulation layer and a second electrode layer are disposed successively on a surface of the first electrode layer except for a preselected surface portion thereof defining an exposed portion. A second insulation layer is disposed on a surface of the second electrode layer except for a preselected surface portion thereof defining an exposed portion. A first contact layer is disposed on the exposed portion of the second electrode layer for electrical connection to an external driving control circuit. A second contact layer is disposed on the second insulation layer for electrical connection to the exposed portion of the first electrode layer and to the external driving control circuit.

  • Patent number: 4978238
Abstract: A printing head has an annular resilient plate on which to centripetally dispose driving arms, an electromagnetic driving device for driving printing wires by releasing deviated driving arms while exciting a demagnetizing coil, an annular stopper plate and an annular thin tabular stopper interposed between the stopper plate and the driving arms. Based on this construction flexures of the driving arms toward a platen can be prevented, thereby eliminating double printing or print skipping.

  • Patent number: 4938618
Abstract: In a method for setting paper on a printer wherein a paper guide having an extending portion extending parallel to a platen is provided opposite to the platen on a printing head reciprocating in parallel with the platen, the paper guide having an opening for exposing an ink ribbon at a position opposite a nose portion of the printing head to provide for printing on a paper inserted between the printing head and the platen, the method including the steps of placing the printing head at a position where the extending portion of the paper guide faces the paper and the opening in the paper guide is displaced away from the paper, feeding the paper between the extending portion and the platen to a position where an upper side of the paper passes beyond the opening, shifting the printing head to substantially a central portion of the cut paper, and thereafter feeding the paper to a printing start position.
