  • Patent number: 8672141
Abstract: A solid-liquid separating system of a parallel plate conveying type can efficiently dehydrate sludge at an inlet and effectively dehydrate it at an outlet, and assures good solid-liquid separating performance. A filter is constituted by a first plate group and a second plate group which perform the parallel motion and displacement left and right, and up and down on the basis of the circular motion. The first plate group includes a plurality of plates A arranged with predetermined spaces. The second plate group includes a plurality of plates B which are as thick as the plates A, and plates C which are thicker than the plates B. The plates B and C are separated. A press unit (not shown) presses sludge at an outlet, where gaps between plates are narrowed. Even when the sludge is dehydrated by applying pressure, few solids will flow out.
