Abstract: An image processing apparatus being configured to support a power-saving mode which allows achieving low power consumption while keeping an idle connection without communication between the image processing apparatus and a communication device in a network environment, comprises: a first judgment portion which judges whether or not the communication device supports the power-saving mode; and a communicator which establishes a connection to the communication device at a first communication rate if the first judgment portion judges that the communication device does not support the power-saving mode, at a second communication rate which is faster than the first communication rate if the first judgment portion judges that the communication device supports the power-saving mode.

Abstract: A material printing system includes a reference setting unit for setting any given version of material data as reference material data, among plural versions of material data concerning a particular meeting, in accordance with a user's instruction, a printing history search unit for obtaining a printing history of material data concerning the particular meeting for a participant in the particular meeting, and an operation unit for calculating the difference between material data printed by a participant in the particular meeting and the reference material data concerning the particular meeting, and a printing unit for printing differential data corresponding to the difference.

Abstract: In a material output system, if it is determined that a meeting management server has stored therein meeting information in which an authenticated person is included in prospective participants in a meeting, in which an installation place of MFP that has performed authentication agrees with a meeting room where the meeting is held, and in which the present date and time is included in a meeting room reservation time, MFP is instructed to output a material saved in a location associated with the meeting information. If it is determined that such meeting information is not stored in the meeting management server, the material output system displays a screen to allow output of the material saved in the associated location, for at least one piece of meeting information in which the authenticated user is included in prospective participants in a meeting. Accordingly, the material can be promptly distributed to the participant in the meeting.

Abstract: The present invention is intended to reduce operation load of a responsible person corresponding to external address for transmission of an e-mail to the external address. In order to accomplish this, an e-mail transmission device transmits an e-mail based on an operation made by a user, comprising: a storage part for storing therein a destination address registration information in which a destination address of the e-mail, an address type information in which either of internal address or external address is registered as type of the destination address, and an address responsible for external address registered if the address type registered in the address type information is external address are associated with each other; and a transmission part for transmitting the e-mail to the destination address designated by the user from a plurality of destination addresses included in the destination address registration information.
