Abstract: An object is to provide a method for easily producing maleimide (MI) in which trace amounts of residual acid components as impurities in a crude MI are efficiently reduced, that is, the acid value is sufficiently reduced. <1> A method for producing purified MI, comprising reducing an acid value of crude MI by 50% or more, by adding carbodiimide (CDI) to a solution comprising the crude MI to react an acid component in the crude MI with the CDI. <2> The method for producing purified MI, comprising adding 0.5% by mass or more and 8% by mass or less of the CDI with respect to a mass of the crude MI for reaction. <3> The method for producing purified MI, wherein the CDI is N,N?-diisopropyl carbodiimide (DIC). <4> The method for producing purified MI, comprising removing a urea derivative of the CDI (CDI-U) by-produced when reacting the acid component in the crude MI with the CDI.

Abstract: The service providing system uses cooperation managers both in SIP and Web systems to process information of the SIP and HTTP protocols with SOAP/CORBA and the like as a communication protocol that can be handled in common. The service providing system thereby facilitates cooperation between the SIP and Web systems through the SPAP/CORBA network, thereby accomplishing information transfer on a real time basis.

The request is turned by cooperative managers into a request under the SIP protocol, which will be processed by another call attempt manager. A response to the result of processing by the other manager is sent to a Web browser in a reverse direction on the transmission path of the request for display on the Web browser. Service proxy UA managers and the cooperative managers on both systems are brought into play in order so that the response is registered in a service proxy user agent. The result of the registration is returned to the Web system in the direction reverse to the processing result. A task is subsequently executed from the Web system to establish a call.

Abstract: The packet repeater machine in accordance with the present invention comprises a forward table, a forward destination registration part and a header conversion part. The forward table stores the relationship between the forward origination address and the forward destination address. The forward destination registration part registers the forward origination address and the forward destination address to the forward information storage means based on the input information from outside. The header conversion part compares a destination address, which is stored in a packet to be transmitted from a first network to a second network, and the forward origination address registered in the forward information storage means, and, if these addresses match, convert the destination address to the forward destination address. The packet repeater machine of the present invention executes processing for switching addresses as a part of packet relay processing.
