  • Patent number: 7993440
Abstract: A non-water-based inkjet ink containing a colorant, is characterized in that a mixed solvent having a solubility parameter value of from about 8 to about 10 is used as a solvent. The ink is an inkjet ink of which solvent hardly erodes a head member so as to allow long term stable printing and also hardly penetrates the material of media so as to improve the printing quality.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 29, 2008
Date of Patent: August 9, 2011
    Assignee: Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd.
Inventors: Yoshiaki Shikata, Nami Hatakeyama, Isao Tabayashi
  • Patent number: 7901495
Abstract: An inkjet ink containing a colorant, where an amine compound is added as a pH adjuster. The ink is capable of preventing the pH of the ink from being shifted to the acidity side due to corrosive substances (e.g., acid substances) generated by deterioration of ink, adverse effects due to water absorption and moisture absorption, or degradation of resin (e.g., degradation of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin), thus preventing erosion of a head nozzle member.

  • Publication number: 20090143509
Abstract: An inkjet ink is provided containing a colorant and using vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, and characterized in that a stabilizer for preventing the vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin in the inkjet ink from being degraded with age is added. An inkjet ink is provided using VCVAC resin which is capable of preventing the VCVAC resin from being degraded and thus preventing increase in viscosity thereof.

  • Patent number: 6093349
Abstract: A color filter composition, a color display device, and a production method of the same with which an increase of the luminance, an increase of the contrast, an increase in the range of color reproduction, and an improvement of the function for preventing reflection of outside light can be achieved. The color filter composition has a spectral characteristic allowing specific light of the visible region to pass therethrough and is composed of fine particles of an inorganic metal oxide containing 15 percent by weight or less of particles having a particle size of 0.1 .mu.m or more based on the weight of all of the particles and contains 70 percent by weight or more of particles having a particle size of 0.01 .mu.m to 0.07 .mu.m based on the weight of all of the particles. A color filter is formed on an inner surface of a panel of a display device by screen printing or heat transfer printing by using this color filter composition.
