    Abstract: Provided is a method for producing a decorative material, including: a preparation step of preparing sheet printed matters each including a substrate and a picture layer on one surface of the substrate and a roll of a transparent resin film having a first surface and a second surface opposing to each other, the first surface having a pattern of protrusions and depressions, the second surface having a pattern of protrusions and depressions that is shallower than the pattern of protrusions and depressions on the first surface; an application step of winding off the transparent resin film from the roll of a transparent resin film and applying an adhesive to the second surface of the transparent resin film; and a bonding step of bonding the second surface of the transparent resin film and the picture layer of each of the sheet printed matters with the adhesive.

    Abstract: An oil seal assembly includes an oil seal having a lip contacting the outer peripheral surface of a reciprocating shaft, a holder for holding the oil seal about the shaft, and an annular spring for urging the lip against the outer peripheral surface of the shaft. The lip has a flat surface which is inclined with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft. When the oil seal is mounted on the shaft, the flat surface is brought into surface contact with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft by an urging force applied by the spring.

    Abstract: An oil-ring comprising a pair of side rails and an expander disposed between the side rails. The expander extends in a circumferential direction and has waves in a radial direction. At both sides of radially inner portions of the expander, side rail engaging portions protrude in an axial direction. The side rail engaging portions are formed as paired side rail engaging sections within one pitch of the waves, by defining a slit extending in the axial direction at a central portion of one side rail engaging portion. Due to the division from one side rail engaging portion to paired side rail engaging sections, the rigidity of each side rail engaging portion can be weakened appropriately, and each side rail can follow against the cylinder bore surface satisfactorily, thereby decreasing oil consumption.

    Abstract: An automatic disc selection type reproducing apparatus comprises a disc accommodating mechanism having disc accommodating portions for accommodating discs, and a reproducer part provided below and movable along the disc accommodating mechanism. The disc accommodating mechanism is substantially arranged horizontally, and the discs are accommodated within the disc accommodating portions in a vertical state where a disc surface of one disc opposes a disc surface of an adjacent disc. The reproducer part moves and stops at a position opposing a disc which is designated by designating an address of the disc accommodating portion which accommodates this disc. The reproducer part has a disc carrying mechanism for carrying the disc which assumes the vertical state, upwardly and downwardly between the disc accommodating mechanism and the reproducer part, while supporting a lower portion of an outer peripheral edge of the disc.

    Abstract: The annular expander of a piston ring assembly with vertically extending notches each of which is formed on either side of a plurality of circumferentially spaced upstanding tabs projecting from the top and bottom edges of the expander. The tabs, which form the abutments for the inner peripheral edges of upper and lower annular side rails, the outer peripheral edges of which are in sliding contact with a cylinder wall, undergo elastic deformation made possible by the notches when the corresponding side rails are subjected to a strong force received from the cylinder wall owing to piston wobble during reciprocation. The elastic deformation of the tabs assures that the side rails will remain in contact with the cylinder wall at all times during the reciprocation of the piston.
