  • Patent number: 8650047
Abstract: A blood glucose measuring device capable of collectively performing blood glucose measurement process and collectively performing insulin administration process on many patients. When having read a patient ID with a patient ID reading section, a control section identifies a record of the patient of a measurement/administration results table. The control section does not perform blood glucose measurement on the patient of the identified record which shows that a blood glucose measurement flag is “true” and an insulin administration confirmation flag is “false”, and displays an insulin dosage on a display unit with respect to the patient by referring to a prescription information table based on the blood glucose level has been measured. The control section does not display the insulin dosage on the display unit again for the patient whose record is identified which shows that the insulin administration confirmation flag is “true”.

  • Patent number: 8326650
Abstract: The present invention is made to provide a safe and efficient blood glucose measuring device capable of collectively performing blood glucose measurement process and collectively performing insulin administration process on many patients, while ruling out the risk of misidentification and misprescription among the patients.

  • Patent number: 8147425
Abstract: A centesis instrument, wherein a patient applies a contact part to a palm, a finger, or an arm in the state of gripping an outer tube by hand and presses the outer tube against its measured portion. A third coiled spring is compressed to increase spring power. When the outer tube reaches a prescribed position, the tip face of the vertical portion of a centesis button reaches a hole part, and a projected part is allowed to be pressed. When the patient presses a button body from a direction perpendicular to the axis of the button body by using a finger at that position, a locking piece is separated from a locking part and the centesis needle of a centesis needle unit is instantaneously projected from the opening part of the contact part to the measured portion by the spring power of the third coiled spring for centesis. Thus, a prescribed amount of blood can be taken out from the measured portion.

  • Patent number: 7771368
Abstract: A body fluid collecting device which is easy to operate to collect body fluid and which is capable of detecting specific components in body fluid with a small amount of sample includes a sensor to detect a prescribed component in the body fluid, and a first supporter to support the vicinity of the measuring part of the sensor and a second supporter to support the sensor at a place closer to the proximal end than the first supporter. The first and second supporters form between them a non-contact space, wherein the first supporter has at its proximal end a concave that communicates with the non-contact space.

  • Patent number: 7481976
Abstract: A body fluid component analyzing system in which even if the lot of sensor chips is changed, parameters can be calibrated without changing memory keys. The system comprises a measurement instrument body having calculating means for calculating a characteristic of a component, a container containing a sensor chip for sensing a characteristic of at least one component of a body fluid, and a case in which the measurement instrument body and the container are set. The calculation parameter(s) of one or more sensor chips can be automatically transferred to the measurement instrument body by transfer means.

  • Patent number: 7207952
Abstract: A body fluid component measuring apparatus capable of accurately measuring a specific component in a body fluid for a short time includes, in a main body, a measuring device for detecting the sampling of a body fluid and measuring a component of the sampled body fluid, and a pump and an electromagnetic valve which constitute an evacuating mechanism. When the sampling of blood is detected, the pump is stopped to release the evacuation state. Another apparatus according to a second aspect includes a pressure detecting means and a notifying device. A puncturing device is operated only when it is decided on the basis of a result of detection by a sensor, that the housing is in an evacuation state, and after the sampling is detected, the evacuation is released and information is notified. A further apparatus according to a third aspect includes a pressure adjusting means for fluctuating the pressure.

  • Publication number: 20060212021
Abstract: A humor sampling implement includes a detection unit having a main frame part possessing a blood transfer channel to collect blood through a blood inflow port and transfer the blood to a blood outflow port, and a test paper for detecting glucose in the blood transferred through the blood transfer channel. The main frame part is furnished with a projection protruding in the blood transfer channel toward the blood outflow port. The blood transfer channel can be configured to include a first blood transfer channel opening to the blood inflow port and a second blood transfer channel connected to the first blood transfer channel, wherein the direction of blood transfer is different from that in the first blood transfer channel, and the projection is provided at an end portion of the first blood transfer channel on blood outflow port side so as to protrude in the second blood transfer channel.
