    Abstract: The information display device includes a surface member, a display, a light measurement unit, and a controller. The surface member is at least partially transmissive for light. The display is disposed on a back side of the surface member and is capable of displaying a display image including an information area for displaying information and a non-information area for displaying no information. The light measurement unit measures the amount of ambient light around the information display device. The controller acquires the amount of light measured by the light measurement unit and changes a pixel value of a display image according to the amount of light so that the display is difficult to be seen through a surface of the surface member.
