  • Patent number: 10761044
Abstract: A reagent layer of a sensor contains as a mediator a quinone compound having a hydrophilic functional group, phenanthrenequinone, and/or a phenanthrenequinone derivative. The quinone compound has a lower redox potential than a conventional mediator, so interfering substances have less effect on detection results with this sensor.

  • Patent number: 10638234
Abstract: A piezoelectric driver (10) includes n piezoelectric layers (3A to 3D) (where n is an integer equal to or greater than 2) that are stacked, with electrode layers (4B to 4D) each interposed between any adjacent piezoelectric layers, and with electrode layers (4A and 4E) further formed underneath the lowermost piezoelectric layer (3A) and on top of the uppermost piezoelectric layer (3D), and the piezoelectric driver (10) is bent and displaced in the direction in which the piezoelectric layers are stacked. A signal converter (11) converts an n-bit digital signal (IS) into n bits of a bit string data signal (BS) comprising of bit data indicating whether a drive voltage to be applied to each of the piezoelectric layers (3A to 3D) via the electrode layers (4A to 4B) is on or off.

  • Patent number: 10526493
Abstract: A silica composite particle includes a silica particle and a compound in which a metal atom selected from the group consisting of Ti, Al, Zr, V, and Mg bonds to an organic group through oxygen, the silica particle being surface-treated with the compound. A coverage of a surface of the silica composite particle with the metal atom is 0.01 at % or more and 30 at % or less. When a binding energy peak of O1s in an oxide of the metal atom is assumed to be MO1s, a binding energy peak of O1s in SiO2 is assumed to be SO1s, and a binding energy peak of O1s in the silica composite particle is assumed to be MSO1s, the binding energy peaks being detected by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, the formula 0.000452×X2?0.059117×X+SO1s<MSOs?(SO1s?MO1s)/100×X+SO1s is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 10481391
Abstract: Actuators (140), which are a pair of members, are disposed one on either side of a movable frame (120) in the X-axis direction, and oscillate the movable frame (120) about the X axis in relation to a fixed frame (110) by deformation caused by stretching and contracting of piezoelectric elements. Actuators (150), which are a pair of members, are disposed one on either side of a mirror (130) in the Y-axis direction, and oscillate the mirror (130) about the Y axis in relation to the movable frame (120) by deformation caused by stretching and contracting of the piezoelectric elements. The length of each actuator (140) extending in the Y-axis direction is longer than a distance between an inner side of the fixed frame (110) to which the actuator (140) is connected and the middle point of an outer side of the movable frame (120) in the Y-axis direction.

  • Patent number: 10473917
Abstract: A mirror with a reflective layer formed thereon is supported within a frame-shaped support by two U-shaped arms. A plate-like arm connects fixation points (Q1, Q2), and a plate-like arm connects fixation points (Q3, Q4). A pair of piezoelectric elements (E11, E12) disposed along a longitudinal axis (L1) on an upper surface of an outside bridge of the arm, and a single piezoelectric element (E20) disposed along the longitudinal axis (L2) on the upper surface of an inside bridge. Similarly, a pair of piezoelectric elements (E31, E32) disposed on an upper surface of an outside bridge of the arm, and a single piezoelectric element (E40) disposed on the upper surface of an inside bridge. When a positive drive signal is applied to the piezoelectric elements (E11, E20, E31, E40) and a negative drive signal is applied to the piezoelectric elements (E12, E32), the mirror is displaced efficiently.

  • Patent number: 8083048
Abstract: A footstep guide rail (3) (rail body 3a) is arranged so that a level H of a horizontal surface is set at the position obtained by adding a designated offset ? to a tangential line L of a drive sprocket (9) and the footstep guide rail (3) is provided, at its one end on an introductory side of the drive sprocket (9), with a curved part (13). At a reference position closest to the drive sprocket (9), the horizontal surface of the footstep guide rail (3) is changed to the curved part (13). Consequently, it is possible to absorb velocity unevenness of one footstep roller approaching the drive sprocket (9).

  • Patent number: 7401691
Abstract: A mountainous or valley-shaped curved part 13 is provided in a part of a footstep guide rail 3 for guiding a movement of footstep rollers 5 linked by a footstep chain 7, the part being positioned in the vicinity of a drive sprocket 9. Consequently, owing to meshing of the footstep rollers 5 with the drive sprocket 9, an unevenness in velocity of the footstep rollers 5 is absorbed by the curved part 13, so that a moving velocity of the footstep rollers 5 moving on the downstream of the curved part 13 is maintained constantly, suppressing vibrating of the footsteps 4.
