  • Patent number: 5243429
Abstract: While a main video signal is selectively replaced by a sub-video signal during the periods when the sub-video signal, typically its luminance signal, is larger than a first predetermined value, the sub-video signal is clamped at a second predetermined value that is smaller than the first predetermined value when the line non-correlation or field non-correlation is detected in the sub-video signal.

  • Patent number: 4418729
Abstract: A shuttleless loom weft detaining device comprises a drum around which a weft yarn is wound prior to its introduction to a weft inserting nozzle, the drum including a frustoconical section, a cylindrical section integral with the frustoconical section, a projecting section radially and outwardly projecting over the radial level of the cylindrical section, and a connecting section integral with the projecting section to connect the radial top level of the projecting section with the radial level of the cylindrical section and located to leave the cylindrical section between it and the frustoconical section, and apparatus for catching the weft yarn in association with the drum peripheral surface to detain a predetermined length of the weft yarn prior to a weft picking through the weft inserting nozzle, thereby maintaining generally constant the drawing-off resistance of the weft yarn from the drum every weft picking.

  • Patent number: 4245675
Abstract: In a weaving loom having a frame and a take-up roller spanned between first and second spaced sections of the frame to wind thereon a fabric, a resilient rod is spanned between the first and second spaced sections to cross the fabric at a position upstream of the take-up roller while being in slidable contact with the fabric, and camber producing means is arranged to flex the resilient rod to produce a camber which protrudes towards the fabric pressing same and is changeable in shape in response to the degree of a biasing force applied to the resilient rod. Thus, the desired form of the camber appropriate for neat winding of the fabric on the take-up roller is easily provided by an operator.
