  • Publication number: 20240108291
Abstract: A ventricular pressure waveform estimation device includes a calculation unit. The calculation unit estimates a plurality of coefficients of a model equation that indicates a left ventricular pressure waveform or a right ventricular pressure waveform by using values of one or more parameters related to a heartbeat or an arterial pressure to estimate at least a part of the left ventricular pressure waveform or the right ventricular pressure waveform.

  • Patent number: 9168522
Abstract: A pipette includes a cylinder having a distal end portion to which a pipette tip is removably fitted; and a piston fitted to be freely advanced and retreated in a cylinder chamber. The piston is retreated to suck liquid and advanced to eject the liquid thus sucked. The piston includes, on an outer periphery thereof, a communication groove for allowing an inside of the cylinder chamber to communicate with an outside of the cylinder chamber when the piston is advanced by an amount corresponding to a dimension larger than a predetermined dimension. The communication groove is located on the outside of the cylinder chamber when the piston is located at a retreated position. When the piston is advanced by the amount corresponding to the dimension larger than the predetermined dimension, a seal between the cylinder chamber and the piston is released so that pressure in the cylinder chamber becomes equal to the atmospheric pressure, and a suction/ejection effect is eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20130061694
Abstract: Provided is a pipette, including: a cylinder (1) having a distal end portion (1a) to which a pipette tip (3) is removably fitted; and a piston (7) fitted to be freely advanced and retreated in a cylinder chamber (6), the piston (7) being retreated to suck liquid and advanced to eject the liquid thus sucked. The piston (7) includes, on an outer periphery thereof, a communication groove (17) for communicating an inside of the cylinder chamber (6) and an outside of the cylinder chamber (6) to each other when the piston (7) is advanced by an amount corresponding to a dimension larger than a predetermined dimension, the communication groove (17) being located on the outside of the cylinder chamber (6) when the piston (7) is located at a retreated position.

  • Patent number: 5523568
Abstract: An image signal processing method in which inspection of a specimen is performed based on the image data collected for the wafer or other specimen by scanning a pilot specimen in a scanning electron microscope, prior to the scanning of the specimen to be inspected. The number of scans of the specimen to be inspected can be reduced, the dose of the primary electrons irradiated can be reduced, and high-quality image data can be obtained in a short time. For a pilot specimen, the image data are collected by making multiple scans in a scanning electron microscope 1. From the obtained image data, the evaluated relative feature function ERFF of an electro-optical cylinder of a scanning electron microscope 1 is calculated (step S01). For the specimen as the inspection object, the image data are collected in a number of scans less than that for the aforementioned pilot specimen in a scanning electron microscope 1.

  • Patent number: 5514341
Abstract: A feces-sampling transport container includes a cylindrical container body capable of accommodating a liquid; a cap equipped with a sampling rod; a separating wall disposed in the container body; a filter for filtering a liquid; and a dropping portion for the filtered liquid. The filter has its outer circumferential portions clamped and fixed by a stepped portion in the container body and the end face of the dropping portion. In this container, the filter has a high effective filtration area percentage. Moreover, the container is so easily transported that it can be sent and/or returned by via mail such as by packaging it in an envelope. Thus, the container has a high usability.
