  • Patent number: 6546156
Abstract: An image processing device having an improved image processing speed and capable of detecting an object at high speed. Where frames are thinned out for real-time processing during frame processing of an image signal, line interval expanding unit expands the interval between lines of the image signal by an amount corresponding to the number of the frames thinned out. Image processing unit performs line processing of the lines whose interval has been expanded, according to pipeline control.

  • Patent number: 6137531
Abstract: A detecting device for road monitoring which detects traveling states of vehicles on a road (traffic stagnation, stopping of vehicles, etc.) or fallen objects on a road is provided. Luminance change detecting unit prepares background image data by taking a time average of luminance for each picture element, and detects image portions where inputted image data is different in luminance from the prepared background image data. Hue change detecting unit prepares background image data by taking a time average of hue for each picture element, and detects image portions where inputted image data is different in hue from the prepared background image data.

  • Patent number: 5777548
Abstract: A monitoring target plane is photographed with infrared-rays by each infrared-ray camera. A converter converts format of image data from each infrared-ray camera from analog format into digital format. A control unit, when detecting an abnormal area consisting of pixels having a density value over a fixed value in the image data, calculates an azimuth and an angle of elevation toward the sun from an abnormal location on the monitoring target plane that corresponds to that abnormal area, and judges that a fire occurs if an azimuth toward the abnormal location from the infrared-ray camera photographing the image data including the abnormal area is not coincident with the calculated azimuth toward the sun, or if an angle of depression toward the abnormal location from this infrared-ray camera is not coincident with the calculated angle of elevation toward the sun.

  • Patent number: 4562437
Abstract: A digital loop filter is used in a phase-tracking circuit which is adaptable to a phase-comparison radio navigation system such as the DECCA (registered trademark) system. The digital loop filter includes a feedback circuit which receives a digital input signal from the digital loop filter and outputs a digital output signal and which feeds back and adds the digital output signal to the digital input signal after a predetermined delay. It also includes a feed-forward circuit which multiplies the digital input signal by a predetermined constant (B) and adds the resultant signal to the digital output signal of the feedback circuit to generate a digital output signal. A multiplier for multiplying the digital output signal of the feed-forward circuit by a second predetermined constant (C) to generate a digital output signal of the digital loop filter is also provided.

  • Patent number: 4496951
Abstract: A hyperbolic navigation receiver locates ships, and the like, by phase-locking the output signal of the voltage-controlled oscillator or voltage-controlled phase shifter of respectively provided tracking loop filters corresponding to the incoming signals from a master and slave station. The voltage-controlled oscillator or voltage-controlled phase shifter is caused to produce an output signal which is a multiple frequency of the incoming signal. Phase discrimination of the output signals is undertaken without the use of a multiplier.
