  • Patent number: 7448304
Abstract: A main spindle and a back spindle grip works W, respectively. Or, the main spindle grips one end of a work W and the back spindle grips the other end of the work W. A tool is attached to a tool spindle. By adjusting the positions of the spindles and the position of the tool spindle, the work W gripped by the main spindle and the back spindle is machined by the tool. Since tool spindle can change the direction of the tool, the work W, including both ends thereof, can be entirely machined into a complex shape. A guide bush supports the work W to prevent the work W from being bent when a lengthy work W is machined. Therefore, this lathe can entirely machine a long or short work into a complex shape.

  • Patent number: 6391413
Abstract: The present invention provides a raw rubber lapping film formed of an ethylene·&agr;-olefin random copolymer comprising ethylene unit and an &agr;-olefin unit having 4 to 20 carbon atoms and a raw rubber bale lapped with this film. Since the film is superior in strength and release properties and has good dispersibility in ethylene·&agr;-olefin copolymer rubber, the operation of lapping raw rubber with a film, the operation of stripping a film from a lapped raw rubber bale and the operation of separating each of a plurality of raw rubber bales are carried out easily and yet there is no adverse effect on the subsequent rubber processing step without stripping the film by heating at a temperature higher than the melting point of the film at the time of kneading.

  • Patent number: 6333955
Abstract: To reduce the manufacturing processes of a control rod and shorten the time required for manufacturing a control rod, for the lower part support member 7, the thin parts 11A and 11B are formed in the neighborhood of each of the left and right sides of the window 8. In the left and right sides of the pull-up handle 9, the grooves 17A and 17B are formed respectively. The groove 17B is deeper than the groove 17A. The thin part 11A is fitted into the groove 17A and the thin part 11B is fitted into the groove 17B. The gap formed between the end of the thin part 11B and the bottom of the groove 17B is larger than the gap formed between the end of the thin part 11A and the bottom of the groove 17A. Therefore, the thin part 11A can be simply fitted into the groove 17A.
